T he objective of the Ethnology Division is to research, preserve, collect and disseminate information on ethnic history, traditions, culture and artifacts for educational purposes and for posterity.There are currently over 7 000 ethnological artifacts housed at the Botswana National Museum. They represent cultures from across Botswana and Africa.
There are three units within this Division and they are History, Documentation and Conservation.
